FAQs

Do you cater to allergies?

Please be aware that our cakes are not made in an allergy free kitchen, and we therefore cannot guarantee that our products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies.

We recognise that food allergies can be very serious, and we recommend that you contact us with any allergy information that you or your party may have prior to placing an order.

Cara’s Creative Cakes cannot be held responsible for any problems arising from allergy information that is not disclosed prior to ordering.

We do, however offer some gluten free and vegan option, on request. Please contact me for further details

Transport

We recommend that you:

  • Transport your cake in the footwell of the passenger side of the car

  • Where this is not available, a passenger holding the cake is the next best option

  • Air conditioning must be on to ensure the cake stays cool

  • General extra care should be taken during transport and moving because some of the elements are delicate

Storage

All cupcakes, treat boxes and cakes should be stored in the fridge and then kept out of direct sunlight, unless directed otherwise. We cannot be held responsible for any damages once the cake has been handed over.

Aftercare

  • Cakes to always be kept out of direct sunlight, on a flat surface and lifted from the bottom of the box (not the sides).

  • All cakes to be consumed within 3 days from collection.

  • There may be florist wire, food safe tape or cocktail sticks within decorations, which are non- edible, so please take care.

  • Once cakes have been collected I cannot be held responsible for any damage arising from mis-care.

  • Laws in relation to the toxicity of fresh and dried flowers are ever changing. All flowers used will be wrapped in food safe tape, but are non-edible unless stated otherwise.

  • Cara’s Creative Cakes cannot be held liable for any problems arising from the above list.

Any questions relating to any of this, please let me know. We hope you understand and enjoy your cake!
